Something Big is Coming
By: David |I am putting the Name Change Petition on the backburners for now, as I am preparing another campaign. It will be targeting a certain person who needs to rethink their affiliation with the team. You guess who it is. But I will need as many people as I can get for this endeavor and will [...]
Guevara was a Waste and Preki was Lost; Chivas Looked BAD
By: David |Last night looked like amateur hour, with Chivas reverting back to the horrible play of their inaugural season. There was no preparation, no emotion and no talent, as Chivas looked to be scared of their own shadow. Preki has some explaining to do and rather then ripping into his team through the LA Times, he [...]
Horrible First Half, What was Preki Thinking? ===> Second Half Updates/ Semi-Liveblogging/ Post-Game Analysis (3-1)
By: David |1st Half: That was some very unorganized, unemotional play reminiscent of the second half against Houston. If this is how we play against teams that show a little bit of pressure, than how do we expect to succeed this season. And I am sorry, but one player does not make or break a team and [...]
Andy Williams was a big FAT LIAR; There were no Broken Bones (The MLS is Out to Stop Chivas From Winning)
By: David |In another interesting turn of events, the Los Angeles Times reported today that x-rays on RSL player Andy Williams turned out to be negative, as there were no broken bones. So Williams was acting last Saturday and the MLS was fooled, causing them to suspend Sacha Kljestan for two games. But I would have to [...]
Chivas USA Name Change Petition Update; Phase II About to Begin
By: David |Some exciting news, we have finally reached 100 signatures on our name change petition. And this was done with very little advertising. Although this might not seem to be a very large number and the impact these internet petitions has is very minimal, what we have seen is increased dialogue.
It would seem that we [...]
Preparing for Saturday’s Battle and Victory Over the Gals
By: David |Sorry for not posting today, I was overcome by work. But I have been thinking about the potential lineup for Saturday and will discuss this in full tomorrow.
Until then, remember that we will be crushing the gals on Saturday. They might have tasted victory the other day, but will be receiving a beating unlike [...]
Kljestan Suspended Two Games; The Refs are the Real Enemy Here
By: David |Well it would seem that the MLS Soccer Disciplinary Committee has suspended Sacha Kljestan for two games and fined him $1,000. This comes after a questionable foul that left an RSL player injured. For us this is horrible timing, as Chivas is going into a two game stretch against the gals and DC United.
When the Line is Crossed (Why the Legion is the BEST Supporters Group in the MLS, Contrary to Certain Opinion)
By: David |I could not continue the day without responding to this. It is time that we address something that has been continually brought up over the past couple of weeks and came to a head today. Although I love to read Du Nord and agree with a lot of his insight, today was the last straw [...]
Maykel Galindo Named Player of the Week (Soon to be Player of the Year)
By: David | Well there you have it, Maykel Galindo has finally been recognized for his talents. The Cuban striker that I have been telling you all about has just been announced as the player of the week.
“Chivas USA forward Maykel Galindo was selected as Major League Soccer’s Player of the Week for his two-goal performance in [...]
Small Rumor of the Night: Chivas to Move out of the Home Depot Center Soon
By: David |Alright this one is real quick, but something that is pertinent to a lot of what we have been talking about. When talking with the FO they made the mention that their goal is to move the team out of the HDC. This would be great, so as to get out from under the tyrannical [...]
