Chivas Korea
By: ivan j | July 21st, 2007That’s right folks, Chivas Korea was proposed to Gorge Vergara by a group of Korean investors.
Apparently this group of investors has already sent out a project plan which proposes buying a team and re-branding it with the Chivas name and policies.
I understand that Vergara is first and foremost a business man and he is always looking to make a buck, more power to him. Yet I fear this move will neglect our CUSA team even further. On the other hand, there’s always a possibility of signing talented Korean players who will fit under our salary cap as we’re out of luck on a DP slot for the next five years.
