The Zidane chase

Yes, I know you’re all exhausted with the Zidane to MLS rumors, but this one is for all the marbles, we hope..

As reported by Mediotiempo on June 15th, the Chivas Guadalajara GM and vice president are off to Spain to accomplish number of things, one of the more relevant goals is to sign Zidane to Chivas USA.

Hold or don’t hold your breath, it’s still one of the most credible reports I’ve read on Zidane coming from the Chivas franchise.

Rough translation on the mighty sentence.

Finally, he (Chivas vice president) mentioned the case of Zinedine Zidane is another goal to accomplish in this trip, the proposal is on the table, we just want to meet in person to decide once and for all.

  Why MUST they go to France to meet with him? Because after 5 years with Real Madrid, he has no business or connections in Spain? Because he suddenly forgot how to travel? Because there is NO chance his agent does any business there? And you’re calling Ivan the fool?
