Chivas USA take on RSL
By: Alex | October 5th, 2007RSL is in the position to be the spoiler of the West, as they cannot mathematically make it into the playoffs. RSL take on the Chivas USA on Saturday, October 6th. Shortly after, the RSL take on the Houston Dynamo. If the RSL takes three points from either of these teams, the Supporters Shield could be lost.
Ante scores a bicycle against RSL! . well, hopefully
The RSL have not yet been a threat to either of these teams. However, Real have stocked their roster full of talent. The three Argies that Kries brought up have been a threat. Real have not lost in four games. Three of those four have been ties, but it shows that the team is adjusting well to the new recruits and the Argies are adjusting to MLS.
With the temperature being cold and wet, we might not see the all out attack the Chivas USA are becoming known for. Is should be a great game. I think the traveling and weather could be advantageous to RSL.
Galindo is suspended due to yellow card accumulation. Sacha, Nagamura and Perez are all one yellow away from suspension.
Hopefully the Red and White can walk away with three points and continue their run towards the top.

I must confess I am really ecstatic right now. Not only because Chivas won over RSL without Maykel and Ante, but Galaxy beat Houston 2-1. Ha Ha Ha.
Btw, Paulo Nagamura’s shot was awesome. It was like “Wow, where did it come from?” So I guess Ante is not the only one who can make thunder and lightening shot (something he did a lot with Chicago Fire).
