MLS acquired Amado Guevara yesterday, signing him to a multiyear deal. Chivas USA traded his rights to Toronto for undisclosed draft picks in 2009 and 2010.

Better be for the first round draft picks is all I’m sayin’ (grumble grumble). I don’t even want to hear thats an impossible trade. Thats what Chivas should get.

Better something than nothing. With the talent on our roster, it may be hard to keep this group together for much longer. 2010 may be a rebuilding year.

I agree. Main reason why I’m making a real effort to get to some Chivas games this season. I see complete turnover very soon. Not a bad thing though — the organization seems to be doing everything right to build a quality youth program. Hope Preki doesn’t eff up and get fired.

If he plays well, we’ll get higher draft picks. I’m stillpisssed that we lost our DP for this clown. Then again, we can redeem those two picks in a trade scenario.
