News from the draft and elsewhere.

Chivas USA have officially selected Keith Savage as the number 43 overall, the one and only pick for Chivas USA in this years draft.

Additionally, The Aleco Eskandarian move was offically announced during the draft.

Savage is another tall striker, coming in at 6′ 2″. He came from West Florida. We hopefully will see a lot of competition for the striker position.

  He’s a goal scorer. Plus, he’s got good DNA since his dad plyed pro and was with the US Nats. I dunno where he plays, but sounds like he can play. Period.

  I played with him in college. He is a great player. He understands the game and is very smart with sound techniques. He has both feet, the vision, and as you noticed the finishing capabilities.
