Extraction Team not required for Thomas
By: Alex | February 28th, 2008Chivas USA have been limping along this preseason. There have been several injuries, surgeries, aquisitions and one visa issue. Shavar Thomas returned home to Jamaica this offseason to represent his country in qualifications for the World Cup. He is yet to return.
Thomas has helped Suarez solidify the back line and provided the much needed consistency the team needed. His efforts may be unsung, but are invaluable to the team.
The good news is that we will not need a secret mission involving and extraction team to bring Thomas back to the states. We recieved unofficial news that the Shavar Thomas issue should be cleard up in the next week.
Great news for the team. This leaves Pancho and Esky as the only remaing players still out on injury.
