Juan Toja Night!
By: Alex | October 11th, 2007FC Dallas is showing their support by hosting Juan Toja night! Chivas USA will have to play against 11 Tojas. Check it out.
More thoughts on the upcoming game against Dallas. Here’s a stab at predicting the line up for the Chivas USA.
—-Merlin——Galindo———
Mendoza-Nagamura-Marsch-Sacha
Bornstein-Suarez-Thomas-Vaughn
————-Guzan—————-
This is slightly different than predicted by the MLS official game guide.
If Razov is actually nursing an injury, I don’t see him starting. He could possibly come on as a second half substitute. On the bench we should see Burpo, Zotinca, Cunlife, Razov, Hernandez and Flores.
Tomorrow, we can see how far off I am. Should be a great game.
Also, Chivas USA and MLS are providing some team notes in the form of a “Vortex”. I’ll have it on every blog, so feel free to check it out, click on it.

There was actually a suggestion that we should make a Panchito’s wig. Will it happen, though? Probably not.

IThe game was entertaining attacking soccer. BUT the linesman blew the offsides call on Panchito Mendoza.
There is no doubt in my mind that he was onside. That call cost us our chance at the Supporter’s Shield. If Chicago played their hearts out and even earned a draw against DC, then we could have earned the Shield with the next two wins!!
The offensive player is suppose to get the benefit of the doubt. Panchito made a beautiful lateral run to stay on side and timed it perfectly.
Even if the ref gave the red card as a make-up call, going down to 10-men isn’t like hockey where people should score. (For those that don’t get it) All it means is one less attacker or midfielder.
