Life After Jason

By: Alex | November 21st, 2007

Jason Hernandez was pillaged from the Red and White along with nine other MLS teams. What does this do the team?

Short term, the damage is minimal. We loose depth from the back line. Rumor is that Suarez is coming back. The main down fall is the loss of depth with more tournaments next year.

Long term, this is not good. It seemed that he was being groomed to slide into Suarez’s spot. With Suarez gone in 2009, the team will need to find a way to fill those shoes.

Good luck Jason at San Jose or wherever you end up!

I have to admit Hernandez was completely off my radar. I always thought Shavar Thomas was being groomed to replace Suarez (at least that was the impression I got from listening to interviews with Jessie). Either way, I think I’ll miss finding more dopey myspace pics of him and Sacha hanging out most of all.

They should have exposed Suarez! ffs, who the hell would want a 39 year old defender. Fucking jokers whoever exposed Hernandez.
