My New Blog on the Offside and other Chivas News
By: David | June 4th, 2007Just a little bit of self promoting. I am now also the author of the Newcastle blog on the Offside and it is an honor to help this great website increase.
There was some interesting discussion on Bigsoccer today, looking into the lack of coverage for the Chivas v. Sounders match on Saturday. It is great to see more people realize the biased nature of American media, especially when it is a game that is not perceived as being prime-time. But the sad thing is, this was a game that was supposed to be the cornerstone of Soccer in the Northwest and yet there was very little media coverage. In fact, the Los Angeles Times made no mention that Chivas was playing the Sounders.
Sorry for the slow day today, but a lot more will be coming tomorrow.
