Real Salt Lake - Chivas USA
By: Alex | June 13th, 2008A bunch of Characters I tell you.
Preki for President!!
My money is on Holland or Portugal.
Now, to more important matters.
No Maykel, he went in for surgery again. Big loss.
Some usuals may be coming back, including Claudio Suarez, Shavar Thomas, Raphael Wicky, Jonathan Bornstein, and Lawson Vaughn. I’m not even going to attempt to guess the line up.
In other Chivas USA news, the team will face Tauro FC of Panama in the first ever CONCACAF Champions League. A home and away match will be played to determine who makes it to the final 16.
Marsch makes the top 10 for MLS games played. Still playing his best.

I heard Wicky will be starting. Lawson said he will probably play some minutes. Alex whats going on? Are you being held captive by the Galaxy bloggers? Do they only let you get next to a computer once a week? LMAO

hahahhaha you guys are funny. It’s one of those periods where life catches up with you. My wife and I bought a house that needs a little love. The transition has been interesting, but my internet is back and so am I.
Good looking out!
Now all we need is a win.

Ok, ok, all kudos to Preki but….
WTF are you doing playing Johnny B, who is coming back from injury and not in the normal flow of things, as our LM? Put him as LWB, and let him get into the flow of things. If you are so impressed with Mendoza at LWB, then put Jorge Flores in at LM. He did score 3 goals in 4 games (which should have been reason enough).
Johnny B did not look comfortable at all as a LM. He didn’t move forward with the ball, his touch was off (Hey Johnny, don’t take it personally, I think you’re a GOOD LWB when you are in form) and wasn’t combining well with the forwards.
I hope Harris was ok, but wouldn’t it have made more sense to pull either Nagamura or Marsch in CM, and leave Harris at RM to make some slashing diagonal runs for Wickey to target?
I know this is Monday Morning Coaching, and I feel bad for doing so, but this has been bugging me ALL FRICKIN WEEKEND! If it wasn’t for my father’s day present (a mini-kegerator, & the love of my wife and children of course), I would have been inconsolable.
