Sunday Open Thread

By: David | April 1st, 2007

Alas we sit here on Sunday waiting for the weekend to end with nothing to do, thus I am opening this thread up for a discussion about everything and anything as an experiment (something I have seen at other blogs)…..

I don’t know if anyone else just watched PSG v Lens, but PSG is very lucky to have gotten this win. Okay, technically, Lens never scored a goal – theirs was ruled an own-goal on David Rozehnal – but still. They played hard all match and PSG looked really anemic for much of it. Rozehnal had one of the worst single minutes I’ve seen a while, drawing a free kick on a dumb foul then deflecting a ball into his own goal off of that same free kick. Ouch. For now, Paul Le Guen’s out of relegation, which is good – I’d like to see him stick at PSG a while.

Wow they just squeaked by and escaped relegation. But with regards to the manager, what kind of confidence would the club have with him. Understandably, he is quite accomplished but this season has been quite abysmal, especially the fact that the team went from middle of the table to the bottom. All I know is that Lyon is at the top…

Maybe this will help out… A great film of Ronaldinho

Awesome! But Spice can do that with her eyes closed. Just wait, you will see all this on display at HDC.

What about the possibility of pulling out of Iraq, letting Iran invade and lose resources fighting their own kind,
and then come in and mop up the dregs?
