SuperClassico … Was this an MLS Match?

By: Alex | September 14th, 2007

Wow …. I knew that we had a derby on our hands, but this? Anyone that tuned in by flipping channels probably thought a game in Italy or Spain was going on. The pasion, the quality soccer. Singing, cheering, even flares.

If anyone missed it, here are the highlights.

Next up, Colorado

Chivas, specifically Chivas Midfield, CONTROLLED this match from start to finish. They looked like they were toying with Galazy, just making quick passes to advance the ball. I love Chivas playing style. They really earned their bragging rights against LA by stifling every attack and containing Landon Donovan.
