I TOTALLY REMEMBER THAT FIRST GOAL. i remember thinking to myself, my god, we’re gonna beat these guys- then it all caved in.
what’s all this talk about guevara potentially butting heads with preki? i know he has a history of temper problems -its gonna be nice having him in the superclasico because of his feud with lalas. preki better lay down the law from day one and build trust with his team. if guevara is quick to act up, id GLADLY field cunliffe and see what he can do. we’re in no need of a player killing chemistry, when we’re trying to build it in the first place. also, it’ll be interesting to see how he meshes with razov, since he’s used having the limelight solely on himself.
of course, it all hinges on the question “which guevara will show up?”

That was a painful game and I am glad that he is on our side, but like you said which Guevara will show up. I have heard rumblings about a possible feud, but it stands to reason especially with their respective attitudes. Couple that with the fact that Guevara came to Chivas because of Bradley and you have yourself a very interesting situation.
However, Preki is a strong coach and Guevara has made no mention of wanting to be traded or having any public spats with Preki. Although, they might have disagreements the style of play that Preki preaches will benefit Guevara.
There is an interesting article by espn on this:
