The Injured List

By: Alex | October 25th, 2007

The injury list at Chivas USA is slowly getting shorter and shorter. According to the Chivas USA show on CSRN, we should expect to see some of the usual suspects in red and white this weekend.

Panchito Mendoza completed his first training session today after being struck by groin injury a few weeks ago. He should be available Saturday.

Jesse Marsch is expected to train with the team today, and we should expect him to be available on Saturday.

Maykel Galindo trained with the team yesterday, but the session was light. He has been struggling with an abdominal / hernia injury.

Ante Razov trained with the team as well yesterday. He pulled his left hamstring or knee (depends on who you ask) against Dallas a few weeks ago. Training was light, but he jogged and juggled for a bit. Razov is expected back for the Western Conference final, but could be back for the second leg against Kansas City.

On a side note, the team has not had full training sessions due to air quality in southern California. They may travel to Kansas City early for training.
