Two for Texas

By: Alex | March 3rd, 2008

Chivas USA continue their excellent run through the preseason with two victories before they head to Texas.

The team played a pair of scrimages against UC Riverside and UC Irvine on Friday, winning both. Riverside was defeated 1-0 while Irvine lost 2-1. Goals came from veteran Claudio Suarez, Maykel Galindo, and supplemental draft pick Kraig Chiles.

The pair of scrimmages were important to the Red and White, as it was the first time many players saw action. Nagamura, Wicky, Bornstein, Vaughn and Galindo played in the games. Esky and Mendoza are still MIA.
